About Me

My name is Gabriele, and I was born in Austria but have made my home in the windswept beauty of Orkney in 2018. I was always connected to animals with special interest in sheep.

Living on a farm has grown my passion for natural fibres and sustainable living and I made it into my way of life. I work from a cosy workshop in a farm outbuilding lovingly renovated by my husband Jimmy. It is a space filled with the scent of wool and the hum of creativity.

I create handcrafted pieces using mostly the wool from my own sheep, celebrating its warmth, versatility, and renewable nature. Each creation carries a touch of Orkney’s wild spirit and my belief that sustainability and artistry belong together.
